Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
All our cupcakes are made with halal ingredients. They are free of all alcohol and non-halal animal products.

All our cupcakes may contain dairy, gluten, eggs, nuts, and other allergens. unfortunately, at the moment we are not able to offer allergen-free cupcakes.
Orders & Inquiries
Initial inquiries are not official orders. We welcome any and all questions you may have about ordering, our process, and what we offer.

ORDERS
​
To order, you must have filled out the Order Form on our website. Fill out as many details as you can in order to receive an accurate initial quote. Any changes after the initial quote are subject to additional charges.
​
We reserve the right to decline orders if we no longer have an availability on your requested date. Orders cannot be rushed without prior notice and agreement from us.
​
Your invoice is your official receipt. For small orders, full payment of the invoice total is required at the time of order. No small orders will be finalized until a payment is made.
For large orders, a deposit of 50% of the invoice total is required at the time of the order to reserve your event date. The remaining balance is due at least 5 days before the event. If we do not receive the remaining balance by the due date, we will cease our work, the order will be cancelled, and your deposit will not be refunded.

DELIVERY AND PICK UP

Delivery and set up services are only available within the Ottawa-Gatineau area for large orders. Delivery and/or set up is subject to additional charges.
​
We are not responsible for any delays or inability to deliver due to natural disasters, accidents, illness, death, inclement weather, supply delays, or any other circumstances out of our control.
​
Any orders that cannot be delivered due to uncontrollable circumstances will be given a 100% refund.
​
Once a client picks up the cupcakes, we are not responsible for any damages that are caused by mishandling or improper storage after hand off. We are also not responsible for any damages caused by anyone who does not work at The Cupcakiste. A waiver must be signed at the time of pick up and delivery.

Orders will not be delivered or prepared for pick up if payments are not received in full.

Design & Theme
During inquiry, please provide as much detail about your expectations as possible. During our correspondence, you can provide picture examples to be used as inspiration.
​
Please note that our designs will not be exact replicas of any pictures you provide as these designs are owned by their respective designers. The pictures will be used to draw inspiration for your dessert order.
​
We reserve the right to refuse orders that are inappropriate, hateful or discriminatory.
Cancellations or Postponements
Any postponements must be made at least five (5) calendar days prior to the agreed upon date. No changes will be made after that.
​
If for any reason you require a cancellation of your order, you must notify us at least five (5) calendar days prior to your event in order to get a full refund on your order.
​
If a small order is cancelled less than five (5) calendar days in advance, a 20% cancellation fee will be applied and the remaining balance will be refunded.
​
If a large order is cancelled less than five (5) calendar days in advance, the deposit becomes non-refundable, but you will not be required to pay the remaining balance.
​
The postponement and cancellation policy is subject to change for large orders. Any changes will be communicated to the client during the correspondence process.

Due to the nature of the business, returns or exchanges are not accepted. All orders are final sale.
